Any Bologna native in his forties cannot help but remember the legendary Living nightclub. Located on Via Corticella, the hotel was the cradle of many young people in the 90s. When he entered, he immediately found himself in front of the cloakroom.

Wide stairs led to the underground level, where the single large room was located. Lots of sofas. The DJ was on the first floor overlooking the dance floor. Next to it there are several areas dedicated to relaxation.

For a short time, a “privè” was set up under one of the two mezzanines, offering music that was slightly more “sophisticated” than the commercial music played in the main room. I think there were 3 bars, one of which was located on one of the two “mezzanines”.

What is certain is that in these areas some DJs were born who “represent” the music of the 90s (such as Luca Antolini, one of the most popular DJs of his time in the progressive trance genre).

I would like to point out that living was born in the early 80s with DJ Enzo Persueder who played commercial Italian disco music.

In the mid-90s, when the “collapse” of the venue began, there was a rapid change of management and the name changed first to UTOPIA, then to TNT, and then to LIVING BOX.
There was nothing to do and “Living” was the first “90s” disco in Bologna history to close its doors.

However, the areas not wasted and coincidentally, the first Bingo hall of our city built under the name Bingo Living. It is possible to view the current game room. Note the area above the scoreboard, which was the DJ’s “booth” before the current transformation…

Time passes silently, we often don’t realize the gift that the Creator continues to give us. Then a stop.. When difficult moments come in life we ask ourselves why, and there is no answer to why.
